Objectives of Our College Admissions Coaching Program for 11th Graders

  • When you join College Vision, you will be paired with an experienced college admissions coach. Your College Vision coach will help you achieve a set of objectives for your junior year.  While each student is unique, our program for eleventh graders generally involves the following core objectives:
  • Finalize your college search plan and list of targeted colleges.
  • Schedule your attendance at key college information sessions and conduct any remaining college visits to further narrow down the list of colleges.
  • Determine if SAT-prep is needed. (It is almost always helpful, even for the very best students!)
  • Continue to focus on maintaining a solid GPA.
  • Take a larger leadership role in an organization or activity.
  • Continue to get to know your high school counselor, and vice versa. (Counselors and teachers enjoy writing college recommendation letters for students they know well.)
