SATs & ACTs are typically first taken during the 11th Grade…so it’s not too early to be thinking about preparing for College!
Here are some of the key elements of College Vision’s ’College Admissions Planning Process’…for 11th-Grade Juniors:
- We’ll finalize your student’s plan for College Search and his or her list of colleges.
- We’ll schedule your student’s attendance at key College Information Sessions and conduct any remaining College Visits to further narrow down the list of colleges.
- We’ll conduct a more in-depth review of Financial Aid & Scholarship options.
- We’ll continue to help you map out a plan for meeting your future College Expenses.
- We’ll determine if SAT-Prep is needed. (It always helps…even for the very best students!)
- We’ll schedule to have your student take the SAT (and/or ACT) tests.
- We’ll continue to help your student focus on getting Good Grades!
- We’ll encourage your student to take a larger Leadership Role in an organization or activity.
- We’ll continue to encourage your student to get to know his or her high school counselor…and vice versa. Remember: counselors and teachers only like writing College Recommendations for students they know & like!
